"Frequently Asked Questions"

Q: What are the legal tint limits in Texas? A: Texas law requires at least 25% Light Transmission on the front side windows (driver and passenger). The rear side and back windows can be any darkness as long as the vehicle has dual side mirrors. Q: Is 3M Crystalline a ceramic tint? A: No. 3M Crystalline is a non-metallized, multilayer optical film made with more than 200 layers. It is designed for maximum heat rejection even in lighter shades without interfering with electronics or signals. Q: How long does window tint take to cure? A: Initial drying usually takes 24–48 hours, but a full cure can take 1–4 weeks depending on the Austin weather and film type. We recommend waiting 2-3 days (warm weather) or 3-5 days (cool weather) before rolling windows down. Q: Does your car audio and radar installation include a warranty? A: Yes. We offer a lifetime warranty on our workmanship for installations done in our bays. Most products are also supported by manufacturer-backed warranties. Q: Do you serve areas outside of Austin? A: Yes, we proudly serve the entire Central Texas area, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, Bee Cave, and Lakeway.
